Music Video
Ta-dam! Second music video. It's actually the sequel to the first video, so if you want to understand what's going on, you'll have to watch the first one... You can download it here.

It picks up the story where Misunderstanding left it. I hope you'll enjoy it and feedback is greatly appreciated as I'm still very new to vidding, this being my second video. Many thanks to my beta-viewer [info]lillyjk. You totally rock. Love you to pieces.



Title: Understanding.
Fandom: Without A Trace
Pairing: Danny/Martin
Music: "Don't Blow It" by Cliff Martinez from the Solaris soundtrack.
Category: Angst, Romance, slightly AU.


Plot: Danny is sad since he believes Martin and Sam are together. He confides in Vivian. On the other hand, Martin is still plagued with nightmares about Danny getting hurt and keep on finding help in his friendship with Sam. Vivian who's worried about Danny decides to talk to Sam and both women realize how oblivious and slow the two boys are and give them a little push towards the right direction. Finally Martin sticks his head out of the ground and goes for it.

Note: This video is slightly AU as I pretend Martin and Sam never got together. Also, since it's a sequel, if you want to understand what's going on, you'll have to watch the first one... You can download it here.

Oh yes. So much better. About time Martin got a clue. That was exceptionally well done. I'm slightly amused by the music, though, as we were just talking about him. Weird.

That was amazing! It was perfect! The clips went together so well...it was so sad. That was probably one the best fan-music vids I've ever seen.

Damn. Damn. Damn. and DAMN.

That was beautiful. I just.. wow! OMG. I was completely in love with Misunderstanding but this one just did it for me.

I cried. I really did.

Everything was perfect, from the clips that you made fit so well together to the music. You are amazing.

If I ever try to convert my friends into D/M lovers [which I will], I'll definitely show them these vids. because they basically sum everything up. Even if I have to force them to watch!

Once again, you are amazing!

You should make your friends read fics and watch all the D/M videos (not only mine) in order to convince them. Maybe it would work. They would be taken over by the pretty boys. No one can resist so much hotness. No one.

That vid is soooooo excellent. The way you've edited all those scenes together to tell the D/M story ... it blows me away.

I just love the ending with Martin smiling at Danny and making a decision. He is so cute.

You should really do a third vid some day. You know, with the guys finally being together and all the small, subtle touches and all the eye-fucks could be integrated. And Sam and Viv would notice and be happy for them. *sigh*

I think I'm going to make a third one which will be so fluffy and full of syrup, you'll beg me to stop. I swear I'm going to have a sex scene in it. I don't know how I'll do that, but this is the goal I fixed myself.

Absolutely beautiful. Too often vids just look like a collection of clips with music playing, this was quite, quite different. I love the fact that the music has no vocals, you really concentrate on the characters and their expressions. Danny especially conveys so much with his expressions and body language and you've told a really concise story here of what's going on between them. Totally love the look on Martin's face at teh end as he's going to Danny. Sensible guy!

Amazing! I loved your Misunderstanding so much, and I coulnd't think that I could watch another M/V as awesome and meaningful as that one!!
Technically, I was particularly amazed by the scene of Martin's nightmare. Incredible!!

Thank you!! I'm really happy you liked it. I'm especially flattered you find it meaningful because that's what I was aiming for. I was not interested in making a video that is just a string of clips, no matter how hot the boys look in it. Now you know why I was looking for all those crazy sentences ;P

It took me a little while to get it to work--DivX has a hate-on for me, I swear, or maybe I'm computer-illiterate--but I'm so glad I finally did, because this was awesome. I'm in so much awe right now. I loved the editing, the way you used the clips to tell this story, everything was perfect.

Okay, just visiting here while looking for more Danny and Martin Vids. I was surprised to find a link to not only one of favorite Danny/Martin vids(Which I had seen at prettyFBIboys), but the sequel as well :-)

What can I say, but great stuff. The editing was spot on and the music choice excellent. I have see a lot of vids in my time and yours are on par with the best.

Wonder what you will be able to do with the new eps in season 4 (hint hint) Do I see a great Danny & Martin angst Vid coming? :-)

I will keeping my eyes out(impatiently) for more....please

Don't mind me, I've been lurking around here for a while [your icons are gorgeous, BTW] and i commented on your last vid, which was just as awesome.

I love the music. And the clips go so well. I've watched the show only once or twice, but this was just...wow.

These videos are amazing. I can't believe I never thought to look for D/M slash until I saw someone with a Danny icon a few minutes ago and looked around. So glad I found this. Beautiful work, I love what you've done, the mood you create, the way you've edited the material. And the angst! Painful and SO WONDERFUL. thanks for sharing!
